Billy Ryan Shelton
In the words of Bruce Lee,
"If you always put limits on what you can do, physical or anything else, it'll spread into your work, into your morality, in your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them".
These are words I strive to live my life by. I am a firm believer in life-long perpetual learning and the development of one's self. Furthermore, I admire Bruce Lee's ideology of aligning the heart and mind together. To exhibit true self expression is to be honest with yourself, your efforts, and with others. These two thoughts coupled with humility, which I have learned through experience, represent words I live by, honest, humble, hungry.
As you probably already know, my name is Billy. I am a former mathematics teacher, constant learner and an avid programmer from Texas. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. During my time there I developed a deep passion for science, technology and all things knowledge. I finished college with a degree in Mathematics and acquired an itch for programming. I am currently a Software Engineer at Dell Technologies with experience in Full Stack Javascript.
When I am not looking at computers or learning, I cherish spending time with family and friends, especially my son. I love him to the moon and back. Other hobbies of mine include weightlifting, archery, casual gaming and watching movies. I grew up playing a plethora of games and still own all my consoles. I love knowing at any moment I can relive a specific childhood memory by simply starting up one of my consoles.
